Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data TeasSimulator collects when you visit the site or use the practice simulator, why we collect it, and who processes it on our behalf.

• Account data — your email address, display name, and (if you sign in with Google) the profile details that provider returns.
• Study data — the practice sections you take, your answers, scores, timings, and which questions you have already seen, so we can show you results and avoid repeating items.
• Purchase data — the plan you bought, the amount, and the payment identifiers our payment processor returns. We never see or store your full card number.
• Technical data — an anonymous visitor identifier stored in a first-party cookie and in local storage, plus basic request metadata such as IP address and browser type.

To create and secure your account, to run and score the simulator, to process payments and grant the access you paid for, to send transactional email about your account and purchases, and to understand aggregate product usage so we can improve the simulator.

We rely on the following service providers, each acting on our instructions:

• Supabase — database, authentication, file storage, and server-side functions.
• Stripe — payment processing. Card details go directly to Stripe and are never held by us.
• Brevo — transactional and account email delivery.
• Cloudflare — content delivery, DNS, and protection against abusive traffic.

We use a first-party cookie and local storage to keep you signed in and to hold an anonymous visitor identifier. We do not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Account and study data are kept while your account exists. Purchase records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. You can ask us to delete your account and its study data at any time.

You may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask for a copy in a portable format. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable period. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.

TeasSimulator is intended for applicants to nursing and allied-health programs. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
